When the Mojo came out, the pound was worth $1.60 or there about, hence the 399 pound retail translated to the US retail of $599. With Brexit, the pound fell to $1.25. I wouldn't be surprised if the US retail is $599.
It is an interesting device. I wonder how seamless the Mojo and Poly fit together. Glad to read it's made out of aluminum instead of plastic like the first module released.
Too bad they couldn't use SD cards instead of microSD since we're currently limited to 256GB of storage where there are 512GB SD cards. As Chord suggests, over time the storage capacity will increase to at least 2TB since the current microSD standard has that as the upper limit. Those cards will be mighty pricey, though.
I'll be interested how much better the Hugo 2 is with the 49,000+ taps. I'll probably go that route, but I love the simple design and sound of my Mojo so much that the Poly may be something I pick up at some point. Between my 240SS and a Sandisk 200GB card, I'm maxed out storage wise. Having the extra 256GB storage of the Poly should serve me for several years.
When I first saw the picture of the Mojo/Poly I read the laser printing as MOJOPOLY and thought, wow, that's an interesting name.
