Hey guys, so I recently started becoming an audiophile, but I got a problem. I don't own a proper pair of headphones. So obviously I need some help

My past experiences with headsets are only a few which I use regularly now. I own a pair of Motorola S11-HD for outdoor use and a Logitech G930 for indoor use. The headset that I will be buying will be replacing both of them.
Right now I'm considering a pair of ATH-M50, or maybe Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro if the extra 100$ is worth it.
Some examples of music I listen to is Rock, techno and some acoustic songs.
I do welcome all suggestions since I am a newbie here so fire away :D

Do you want some allround headphones, which you can use outdoor too? def Custom One Pro. The 1.2m Cable is a godsent compared to the 3m cable from ath m50s (or spiral cable from ath m50). + the extrem awesome beyerdynamic service with all of its spare parts, and the Custom Headset Gear.

If you want some for ONLY indoor, i would more look for dt 770 pro, AKG K550 (both closed), or dt 990 Pro, AKG K612 Pro, dt 880 Edition, AKG K701, Philips Fidelio X1~.
