Hi everyone,
I need to get a good stand for my Hifiman Sundara set, to live on my nightstand. I have previously used a traditional hanger-style hanger, this one was a "Cosmos" thingy off Amazon with good reviews: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009X6G646/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Similar to a lot of other stands that are essentially a shaped hook that the headband hangs on. After years of having my AKG K702s hanging on it in my office, they seem to have lost all tension in the headband portion that adjusts to the head, and are now pretty useless, because when worn they will just droop down to the maximum extension. I am wondering if a different design would be better long-term. Specifically I was thinking of an omega-style, which would give a more even weight distribution to the head band, like this for example: https://www.headphones.com/collecti...s/headphones-com-wooden-omega-headphone-stand
Any experience with these? I've seen some concerns about the omega-style ones that they continuously compress the pads and may wear them out, or that they can be narrow and the pads overlap the edges leaving some indents. Anyone care to share their experience? Perhaps you've used one specifically for Sundara?
Thanks!

I only use Woo Audio stands for my collection of headphones.

Just take a look at Rooms Audio Line stands.

I don't like the Omega stands, so my decision was clear on that.
