It's pretty cheap, I wonder what kind of tubes you can swap in that? I'm not sure I like that blue, but damn that would look sweet in black!

Interesting little amp, especially the notion of driving speakers for an office or bedroom system. It sure is nice looking and the one on eBay seems to be priced well, except for the shipping from Hong Kong.
I wonder how it would compare to the likes of the ASL MG Head OTL, and also what the tube rolling options might be. Anyone familiar with the 6J1 and 6P1 tubes that is uses, and what other types of tubes one might be able to use?

The power tubes are EL-84 compatible; I thought the included ones made the amp dull pretty much across the spectrum. Got some Tungsram EL-84's, made a NICE improvement. Can't remember what the driver tubes are, but I didn't find a suitable NOS replacement based on my first search.
I drive my Grado SR-60's with it and it's a great combo. My soon to be had SR-325i's will also go off this amp.
FYI, mine DOES have the USB input, but I haven't tried it off a PC yet.... I also have a pair of 4" Fostex horns I want to try this on (it supposedly will output 5wpc); again, gaven't made that move. I SHOULD try my K-1000's on it, though.
BTW, it has a slight hum, too, but it disappears from audibility once music starts, even fairly low-level music.
I got mine for $275 (? - I think that's what I paid) on Audiogon Auction. Seller was Vlad at Audio Mirror, nice gent.
I am so straight out at work, I am working nights and weekends. But I hope to report more on this in its different setups someday soon....
