Somebody posted a Blon B8 for US$40 on FB marketplace and i couldn't contain myself, i bought it on the spot.
It needs new earpads, but it seems to be in good shape, i look forward to hearing it.
I was planning to buy a Sivga SV006 or OKCSC M5 but the current prices (and now, availability) were keeping me away from them.

Pro 82 v2 is as good for jazz/classical as a closed set can be, regardless of price.

Guys, would you say the ISK MDH9000 is still a solic rec in 2021?

I would say the MDH9000 and any of the near-identical looking clones are still solid recommendations--cheap, fun, entertaining headphones...definitely no boring, forensic sound here.

Anyone seen this yet? Linsoul seems to be interested in pushing the boundaries on some rather expensive headphones from unknown Chinese brands lately. I've never heard of Timsok, and $2,000 is a hefty price (reminds me of the Music Master headphones often seen on AliExpress). I do like that it's purple though.

i like the looks! The model name is just .... strange branding... Timsok TS-1024? My name is Tim and I do wear socks and 1024 is 2^10 so it must be good digital.

I ended up not showing my used B8, so here it is.
It has some minor scratches on the metal (maybe a good excuse to paint them black?), it came with a Fidelio cable and worn out earpads, but otherwise it sounds great and the wood is in great shape.

I already ordered a new cable and new earpads, just waiting on their arrival now.

I have ordered several times from this store and never had a problem. I bought some 105mm (I think?) from the listing below but they have a variety of sizes. Definitely real sheepskin and very soft, not to mention affordable. They are currently on my HAS-30. Not sure budget and sheepskin go together. If you have the DT990, have you tried their Beyer velours + foams, that's what I found worked best on my HD330, cleared away the muddiness.

I got it, but the sheepskin from well-known brands is prohibitively priced for me (mostly due to import taxes).

I own the DT990 pro. I will try its pads with the HD330.
