I'd love to hear what you think of my most revealing and detail retrieving headphones!

I read in this tread that ZX1 is too feminine looking, so I may give the ZX1 to my (women) college-bound daughter who has a good chance to be selected to play saxophone in the jazz band. I am keeping all the options open. Lol

I don't think it's feminine looking. For one thing, the cups are huge. You would not be wearing it out in public anyway...it is not a portable.

More like those big goofy robes muffle treble.

Hi Guys!

Hope you are all well.

I have just bought these headphones - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07PD9YBLS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - OneOdio A9 for 69.99

Then I came across these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SQ6ZWM6/ref=psdc_310193011_t1_B07TYR19LW - MPow that pretty much look spot on the same (even the ANC mic is in the same place).

I was wondering if you know whether these models are exactly the same? Then there is no point to pay 20 quid more for the same.

And what about these MPow H17 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cancelling...ords=mpow+h17&qid=1565033968&s=gateway&sr=8-1 - they look even better than OneOdio A9 but I can`t find any info on the internet about them, might be some new model.

Any opinion about thoese headphones?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

In case anyone is interested - I just picked up OneOdio A9 (OneAudio A9) and I am not impressed at all, will be sending them back. In few words as it was just a quick test:

- decent build quality;
- average comfort (top part should be more plushy);
- good noise isolation (even without ANC on);
- very narrow soundstage;
- treble rather on the harsh side (not massively but can be annoying at times);
- V shaped sound - but with average bass, sounds like plastic box or something;
- ANC reduces noise nicely but changes the sound quality to very unnatural one;

If you are looking for cheap bluetooth headphones, I highly recommend to try these - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07P8XLM6V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - I had to send my pair back as there was some issue with quality controll (cable was faulty and one side was like 5% louder than the other) but I want to try another pair as the sound quality and comfort are very impressive for that price. And I am saying that as the owner of B&W P7, Momentum 2.0 and Fidelio X2.

Hello, any open-back over-ears around $50 preferably with the detachable cables? So far have found ISK HF-2010, Superlux HD668B, and ZX-1, although two of them are not with detachable cables. Any others should I check out? Haven't tried open backs ever so these will be my pair of cans. All suggestions are welcome. TIA

I have both the ISK HF2010 and the Superlux HD668B. They are semi-open really, not open. Although they are fantastic cans, especially if you consider the price. I don't know about the ZX-1.

Thanks. Then I'll probably drop them from my consideration for now. As I want completely open back cans.

Hi everyone. I just found the OKCSC ZX2 on Aliexpress and Amazon (https://www.amazon.it/okcsc-ZX-2-altoparlante-cuscinetti-confortevoli/dp/B07VXD2YF9), but there's not a single review and very few informations available. The description on Amazon Italy says there's a 65mm driver, but no info about it in the official OKCSC Aliexpress store. Do any of you own them? Reading the positive comments about the ZX1, I'm curious to know how these ZX2 sounds... :L3000:

I have ZX1. It has wide sound stage and detailed high. Okcsc only have two sizes in driver- 57mm and 40mm. I believe ZX2 is a clone of ZX1, but has a traditional looking headband. So ZX2 has 57mm drivers.
On AliExpress website. you can find the ZX2 in the OKCSC store for $60usd. The store offers coupons to take the price down by another $3 or $4 usd. Shipping is free.

Good luck.

I don’t know how they sound, but they sure look better (and more comfortable) than the previous ones IMO.

They certainly look less homemade, yet they have that cool DIY garage workshop look. Which I of all people can appreciate (case in point lol).
