Chicago Summer MeEt....You boys and girls Down?

To head-fi members of the upcoming meet..
I have been politely asked not to attend the meet. i will fulfill the request of the Peeps in charge (as it is there rite) but worry not my active participation in Meets, head-fi, and Head fest 08 host are strong as ever! there are still talks and plans being worked out that need to be taken up before any official head fest post comes to ahead (rumor has it there are talks of a third day being added, but you did not hear that from me).

you guys enjoys yourselves this Saturday and you have lots of great gear that will be there so listen to it all. this meet can be considered a "spring meet" so maybe we should all get together in the summer sometime and have a "summer meet".

until then enjoy a coffee and some Sinatra this Saturday for me...

Depending on when it's scheduled I might be able to make it. I was planning on going to Chicago this summer to meet a close friend.

Actually, bring what you have, or bring just you and listen to other's gear. Head-Fi'er's are a friendly bunch.

LOL now thats funny. I dont even have it yet.

I was looking at new speakers for the computer thinking I could run the Dac-1 there..then i thought "wait! what am I doing buying more.."

lol..that's funny. I was gonna pick up a Presonus Central Station....at the check out I suddenly realized I am better off saving my money and go for the big spkr upgrade later this year. Why am I keeping on, or have the desire to keeping on pumping money into headphone??

Depending on when it is in July I could be persuaded to drive on up and maybe even bring my itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny little SP amp. I may also have a Stax Omega (not O2) by then also.

Billy, I've been strongly considering going to the Pitchfork Music Festival, July 13th through the 15th. If you had this meet somewhere in that window I'd love to take a break from the crowds & heat for a day, and then jump back to the music at night. Not a definite at this point but as I said a strong possibility.
