Just catch up with me at the meet. I will have them in the car.

I already have too much stuff to take in. :)
Are you trying to lure me back to your vehicle?

#strangerdanger

Jkjk friend.

TBH I would want to give them a listen and see if I like them in order to purchase them. If that's possible let me know Saturday.

Cheers

I'll buy a set of your rockets.  I had them once and liked 'em for exercise.  Never should have sold them!

@Hisoundfi you can listen to my set after I buy them from @Audio Addict

Yes! Finally, an Audeze! So excited!

I think all the big Audeze guys picked up HE1000s this year, ha-ha.

Kojaku

Ha! I'm a huge HIFiMan fan, so I can't blame them. My satisfaction with the HE500 has probably been protecting me from dropping a grand on Audezes for some time now. They're definitely near the top of my must-try list, though!

A note of caution here. I loved the Audeze house sound for a long while. I've got this one strange assertion about freq response. Rolled off treble never HURT anyone. I've had my ears physically hurt from some earlier HiFiMan models' treble, which is why it took me so long to jump ship. The HE1000 is the least HiFiMan-ish headphone I've heard, in terms of response. It's decidedly less offensive. If you want that hot, visceral treble that many have cited as characteristic of pre-560 headphones...it isn't here. Just a warning.

Haha, obviously I'm not expecting that from an Audeze. I'm a bassist and a big bass fan in general, but I've never really heard a fully "dark" headphone I've liked. Thus, my curiosity about Audeze.

On the HiFiMan thing, I think I'm going to try to track down my stock HE500 grills for you tonight. I have a mod configuration that might surprise you. It's like an HD650 on steroids.
