chewing on my headphone cords

i have a problem. i have a habit of chewing on the cords of headphones and ill start doing it and not even notice. ive tried substituting the wires with a rubberband but that didnt last long. my insatiable appitite for my 580's cord is getting out of hand and i wanna know if you guys crave wire?

Swap the stock cable out for a Zu or Moon Audio. I bet you won't chew on that

I used to do the same thing when I was younger, dunno why though.

Maybe try putting some of that horrible tasting stuff used to stop people from biting their nails. Otherwise, you will have a great excuse to upgrade your cable if your stock one gets damaged.

Seriously: i chew on the rubber cable on the sennheisers: they are so perfect for it with their soft rubber and all; it's not a conscious thing, i just found myself doing it sometimes... that's why i now have a blue dragon on my HD650's... most unappealing to the mouth.

i used to do the same thing before i got my ms-1s to an old pair of $10 headphones, but i don't even consider chewing on $100
