Last summer I worked as an intern for a lawyer who shared a floor with a bunch of other lawyers. One such lawyer came in to show the business manager a letter that had been sent to him. The envelope actually had tread marks all over it.

That's totally normal. I have had that kind of cracks in several packages.

Hrmm maybe just maybe and this is just a hunch, I think Pink's Russian has moved on to bigger and better things then pretending to be a garden gnome. Just think of the fun, a traveling russian out to destroy all USPS boxes

Well it is the USPS after all, I really do not know what my mail goes through befor it gets here but...I have had some strange happenings with my mail in the last few months. I ordered a dvd from the net, the mail lady brings me a soaked and shredded remains of a box, a letter from usps and the dvd I purchased in a bag and said sorry I don't know what happened.

I receive magazines that are missing there coveres and sometimes half there pages ROFLMAO.....I revceive mail that looks like it has been put through a shredder half way backed out then delivered. I called and they want me to bring in the damaged parcels so they can take pics and see how its getting damaged...

I think this a rarity, at least from my experiences. I've never recieved anything from USPS in that shape, and I get several packages weekly. Maybe I've just gotten really, really lucky. From the looks of it though, I think this was just an accident on their part. Maybe a really heavy package was accidentally placed on top of yours. Not really a legitimate excuse, but this stuff obviously does happen

I've had bad experience with UPS. Twice I received a computer that was either DOA or had internal components that weren't functional (due to mishandling I would assume). Not the greatest, but the guy that delivers to me is very friendly

O don't even get me going on UPS

I do everything within my power to not use there service. Main reason was a strike they had some time ago and it delayed my shipments for weeks. Then the sheer fact how they man handle there packages, I had some delivered with SHOE prints on them. I had one box I couldn't even beleive UPS tried to deliver, it look like an elephant sat on it then dropped from an airplane then run over by the delivery truck, it was a hard drive none the less that was in the box. I was amazed that it worked when I installed it.

I quit doing business with a reseller I been useing since 2000 (Newegg.com) just over the shear fact that they switched to UPS over Fedex. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered something once, and usally within 2 days Fedex would have it delivered. UPS took almost 5 days and as far as I can tell was shipped from the same wharehouse.

So when I see those "What can brown do for you" commercials it just kills me.
