A little story with pictures...

I wanted more bass from my ksc 75's and i rarely used the sportapros, so i put the 75 drivers in the sportapro headband.

the absence of the volume control on my ibook made these ideal companions.




But what did i do with the old sportapro drivers?......

Those ath ew9's were so gorgeous i needed to do something to resist. I needed a substitute.

Quarter modded!

The work's pretty easy if you have a dremel. The hours spent waiting for the stain and semigloss polyurethan to dry was agonizing. All worth it, though. They sound great and fit more securely than the 75's did.

It looks like the holes are blocked in both designs now,and most people drill even more holes,so arent they kinda honky sounding now? Does the 75 driver sound like the sportapro,and vice versa? And howd you make and apply the woodie? :woodied 75's smile:
