Cheapest place for the Grado Sr-80's?

Ive seen them for $95 shipped everywhere,

anyone know a cheaper place?

I found a place has them for $86 but they charge shipping and it ends up being $95 again.

I passed up a pair on ebay today... ~$70 shipped. They were used in very good cond though. The catch is that they were used.

for the price, my opinion is to forget Grado SR-80 and say hello to Alessandro MS-1. $99 shipped.

Actually I WANT the Ms-1s but alessandro doesnt seem to be answering any of my enquiries, order requests, or answer the phone and his shopping cart does not work with my browser. been trying to get some answers for a couple of weeks now. other threads seem to confirm difficulties with receiving a response from alessandro-products also.

time to move on to a seller that actually will answer emails and take orders,

I ordered mine off eBay - $75 new plus shipping, which was $12 to Canada, might be less in the U.S. So try eBay, you might not get it a lot cheaper, but maybe a little. or the For Sale forum here, of course.

previous threads about Alessandro not answering order enquiries, and up to two weeks with no headphones, doesnt make me think he's the best person to deal with. I will try to contact him one more time over the phone.

nah I dont have 3 weeks to wait for them. Ive been trying to contact since last month. IMO not worth the hassle for $95 cans. I just need a good entry set of headphones. I will probably get the 325's in the future

Ordered sr-80's shipped for $95 at good cans, He responsed to my email and told me he was an authorized seller, and his turn around time was 1 day, order today out tomorrow priority mail. so that was the deal breaker.

doesnt look like many places will go lower then the $95 mark, and if they do its normally only a few bucks off.

so I just ordered from anyone that seemed honest and shipped quickly.
