Cheap USB DAC that does 24Bit

I am looking for the CHEAPEST possiable USB/Firewire DAC for use with my Macbook Pro and Desktop computer. It needs to be able to do 96khz and 24 bit for my Vinyl rips. Any recomendations?

You're looking for an ADC, not a DAC, since you're doing analog to digital conversion and not the other way around. The easiest way to find ADC is in an audio interface (basically, an external sound card).

You could use the E-MU 0202 USB (~$130), but routing stereo input would be a little funky. The E-MU 0404 USB (~$200) would be simpler, but would also require RCA to 1/4" adapters (which are a few dollars each).

Yes, 0404 would be an outstanding solution. If you shop around there are good deals out there.
