I am looking for some cheap cable to replace the cheaper cable that came with my HD580's. I came accross this http://www.head-direct.com/product_detail.php?p=6. Has anyone given it a try?

Has nobody given these cables a try? I may just go ahead and purchase the Dowin and see how it sounds in comparison to the stock HD650 cable.

it does look nice for the craftsmanship and price. I'd be hard pressed to believe it can keep up with the better cables for the hd650 though. it would certainly be better then the stock cable, wich is quite standard.

I wouldn't touch those plasticky cables with a ten foot pole. They look really cheap and hideous.

Of course they can be worse than stock cables. Why the heck not. Just because they are after-market, doesn't mean that they are better than anything. They could sound like utter !@#$.

have you seen the inside of the stock cables (600 or 650). not too impressive.
