Hi guys,

Moving out to Toronto maube next year and would like to know where is the cheapest place to get Sennheiser cans, I use at this time HD600 and would like to get some HD650 or even a second pair of HD600.

In the UK we have many good hifi shops, and we have some very cheap one like "Richer Sounds" which is good if you know what you want and they have in stock. And again some of the London stores, we also have a selection of mail order place which can be found in HiFi mags. And of course internet stores.

Been doing some search for Canada and it seems most electrical stuff you dont get much choice or places to find it, any comments on getting gear in Toronto would be great, the only place that I did find was Bay Bloor Radio and they never even replied to my email when I asked if they sell Canadian version of my HiFi gear (from their web site they do) but of course most of my high end UK gear will not work in CA.

I dont mind using mail order, just a list of stores or mail order places in Canada would be great

Thanks

R

hmm, i live near toronto, i remember there was one shop, but they only carried grados. nothing much here, you might as well order from headroom.com, ecost.com or bluetin.com. or just check the FS forums.

Yikes, Futureshop.ca sells the HD600 for $600!

The cheapest place that I know of to get the HD650 is at www.minidisc-canada.com which is an authorized dealer (I checked with Sennheiser)

It's $480 CAD and if you don't live in Quebec, you don't pay PST (8%)....even more savings! That's actually not much more than what ordering from the US will cost you (you'll have to pay GST/PST (15% total) when you import them from the USA)

As far as hearing it, I think Bay Bloor carries most of the line of Sennheisers.

Get off at Bay or Yonge station to Manulife Centre. Enter underneath the main entrance of Indigo that faces onto Bay through the side door.

Pretty pricy though...Bought my first PCDP there...the Panasonic Shockwave (yes, the one with the vibrating head set ouch my ears!) in the aluminium casing etc when it first came out for a cool 325 bucks! Then they wanted me to pay 150 to repair it about 1year and 2 months later...

stock up wherever u live buy whatever u need cuz buying from canada is like the worst idea ever u pay a hellva lot of money for shipping compared to native country shipping. its bloddy unfair to buy from canada since our currecny is weaker compared to states and united kingdom
