dont really know what to get, im looking for a pcdp for around 60.00, i will never use headphones with it, i will only use it with a cassette adapter in my car, i have a killer sounding system in my car, but it is casette, i have a phillips pcdp right now, but it does not have a line out, only headphone out, and the sound sux through my cassette adaptor, so i bought a el-cheapo GPX for 6.00 from a friend, it does have a line out, and sounds much better through that line out, than the phillips with the headphone out, so im in the market for a new pcdp that has a line out for good sound quality, thats all im after is sound quality, BUT, the only pcdp in the 60.00 range that have a separate line out is the cheaper brands, GPX, lennox, emerson, memorex. so, out of all 4 of these cheper brands, wich would have the absolute best sounding line out?
also, would a sony/panasonic in the same price range sound as good using the headphone out as one of the cheaper ones using the line out? for example, for cassette adaptor use only, sony/panasonic-headphone out to cassette adaptor VS. GPX/lennox/emerson/memorex-line out to cassette adaptor..? i know that generally, the line out will sound better than a headphone out, but since the line out brands are cheaper and the headphone brands are better, would they equalize? or would the cheaper line outs STILL sound better since i will be using the cassette adaptor? I asked this before but i dont think i got the question out like i intended, have a hard time wording things..lol..
thanks all

i've never heard those brands, so i can't vote. i'd go with a line-out pcdp if you can. can't you buy a car cd player for around $60 these days?
