Future shop sells it for $400, ouch! My mom wants to buy my Dad a dvd player and I wouldn't mind getting this one if I can find it somewhere at a decent price.

I live in Vancouver, BC, but I went to the Sony Store the other day and they had it for $330. I am also looking into one of these, so if you do find a better price, be sure to post it.

I think there's a thread earlier mentioning the Vision have it on sale for ~$250(?). Double check on that.

Whoa. I would definitely buy it for $250.

I think next weekend I might go around to Visions, Sony Store, A&B Sound, and any other places I can think of, and write down the players and their prices, then go home, do some research, consider my options, and possibly buy a home CD player about a month or two from now.

But then again I always say I'm gonna buy things and in the end it never happens.

yead check visions. i posted that. they had it for $250 about two weeks ago, but i don't know what it's at now. good luck.
