Hey Folks...

Everyone on here was so helpful with my earbuds decision, I thought I would post another request.

My daughter has asked for some full size headphones to use with her Iphone/ipod. Here is the "requirements":

* She uses them in the library so she wants some where she can't hear others but also the others can't hear the music she is listening to.

* They should be "cute" as she puts it.

* I would think maybe some portability would be a factor.

* Cost should be in the $50 range. I know that isn't much, but she isn't an audiophile by any means.

* She listens to mostly alternative/Folk/Dance...like Beck, Devadre Banheart (sp), Imogene Heap...the normal "off the wall" college music.

To give an example of what she wants, here is a link to urban outfitters headphones she sent.

Urban Outfitters Headphones

And this was her request: "Good, chunky (but not too chunky), cute (important!) Headphones (I really like the WeSC ones)"

Any help or deals would be great!

Those are just examples of what she likes, but she is depending on me to maybe "do the research". She is a 21yr. old female who listens to music on her iphone using the provided earbuds, so anything better will be good. I just know the folks on here were soooo helpful with my decision, I thought I would get some help with this.

Are those pretty decent? Good price for sure. I know they aren't flashy like the ones at Urban Outfitters, but I would certainly rather spend the money on a brand I have heard of. Do you know if they are pretty isolating? Also remember they will be driven with an iphone primarily.

Second hand HD 448? If you can stretch the budget a bit it opens up far more possibilities.

hrmmm, there are some retro headphones out there with decent sounds, I can't remember how much they cost or the model name, but they're made by panasonic. There's also the ATH ON3 (is that correct?) or the JVC Flats as well the Panasonic Slim.

Edit: I just remember one more JVC HA-M750, they have a piano black finish they look stunning and they're cheap from JR I think it's $45 shipped.

It's a solid headphone for the price and gets better with break-in. Comes in multiple colors too. Just bought my girlfriend her second pair (her first pair lasted about two years).

Dirt cheap for what you get. I bought her's at J&R for $29!

Let me also add the Creative Aurvana Live! to the mix. They are also $55 on Amazon. I really like the look of the Audio-Technica's but not sure if the iphone will drive them or how isolating they are. Any opinions are welcome!
