Hi everyone.

I am in the market for a "cheap" pair of headphones for my portable CD player and have narrowed it down to two choices that are both highly recommended by HeadRoom web site.

The two I have narrowed it down to are the Sennheiser 497's and the Koss PortaPro's.

Has anyone compared these two models? Do you have any recommendations?

Another thing I thought would be a hassle with the 497's is the fact that they have a 10' long cord on them which would make them not very easy to carry around without rolling the cord up.
