Hello,

Looking for a cheap headphone amplifier that runs on AC, not battery. For work. 54 ohms headset. EU based.
Would a cheap Behringer umc22 do the trick?

But wouldn't a Behringer amp do the job? A UMC22 is much cheaper and has a headphone output that can be amplified. It's not for music.
Maybe that part should've been considered before you even logged in.

I have the Behringer 202 and I cannot recommend it for 300 ohm cans. For 50 ohm cans it should do a nice job.

It runs off USB power from the PC. It does not have a wallwart nor an AC socket.

The Behringer UMC22 appears to be a cheap USB interface. Not really a headamp or DAC/amp. It does not even have stereo analog inputs, as far as I can tell. And the headamp in it is probably quite basic.

If you really want more power and volume, then I would get an actual headphone amp or DAC/amp, rather than something like this.
