For gaming 95 %. Test Drive Unlimited have so much distortion it´s almost unplayable with my Proline 750. They are very revealing so what I am looking for is something with much bass. Boomy is a good thing and that is very forgiving.

Soundstage well noone can touch the Proline 750 for sure. Wonder if I would aim for one with no soundstage at all lol. For racing games and such it don´t matter that much...

But AKG 81DJ has cought my interest thanks to AlexPea what other options is there?

I am looking for cheap nothing that matches my Proline 750s...

so less then 100$ definiatly. I do have the DT 770s may use them if I don´t get them sold but maybe there is even more forgiving cans out there?

Now from recall don´t have them with me right now they have never really annoyed me...

For good, decent cheep closed cans, I love my MDR-V6's (DT250 pads in the mail, I can't wait to hear them with these pads). About $60 for the V6's and about $22 for the DT250 pads. My 2 cents.

So you're looking for something that's not too resolving so low-quality gaming noise isn't an issue?

I say go for something like the portapro. Around a hundred dollars, you are really going to be resolving a lot of the sound, and you're going to hear the problems a lot.

I guess I am looking for a "fun" headphone lol. Don´t have to be totally accurate...

Porta PRO is totally out of the question. so uncomfortable they are useless. (tried them as well). They also don´t have the boom. However for the price they are awesome lol.

Test Drive unlimited is the only game of many I have problems with the sound in thus I am not prepared to shell out so much for a headphone I will not use very much otherwise.

HFI-700 or HFI-2200 is a bit to much sadly they are supposed to be forgiving "fun" headphones as well with the Ultrasone soundstage

Okay I make it simple... It´s either going to be the AKG 81DJ or sony MDR-V6... Do we have any people hear having both? I am probably not going to replace the pads on them use them in stock configuration.

Comfortability is an issue. I have mixed reports on the 81DJ some have no issue with them other big issues wearing them for longer periods...
