I have an AQ Dragontail coming out of streamer, plugged into cheap 1M cable going to USB isolator. This Isolator only accepts a Mini split USB 3.0 cable. Then out of Isolator to DAC I have a very high end cable. I was just wondering if the cheap cable before the Isolator even though connected to the Dragontail should be degrading overall sound? AFAIK, it is what is after the Isolator that matters. Since it is Galvanically isolated with Linear power and reclocks the signal. In this instance should it matter? It does not sound as good without the Isolator so there is already an improvement. I wonder if an Isolator that accepts a USB 'B' cable so I can use a high end cable would probably sound even better. Or what is before the Isolator does not really matter? Thanks

Please disregard. PSU does not fit either. Getting different Isolator.

I found much better isolation/filter system in the basement. Powering with JS2. Done.
