Hey guys, please, give me advice about amp(dac?) for beyerdynamic dt 770pro 250ohm.
Need cheapest and simplest thing.
Now im have only laptop and simple guitar card usi ugm 96.

And, what do you think, dt770 is good choise for metal? My pair is on my way, i havent them right now. I know they is good for thrash, alternative, doom, but bad for progressive metal(have no soundtage). The akg k7xx is good for progressive? I know, you have them.

I would try and talk you into canceling your DT770 order.
The DT770 and AKG K7XX are very different headphones.
The Soundmagic HP151 would be considered an improved DT770, as far as closed headphones go.
For an open headphone, I would try and talk you into getting the Massdrop/Sennheiser HD58X.
The AKG K7XX would be considered to sound like a very wide sound stage.

Why? dt770 is bad? I managed to buy them for $ 50 with shipping. Havent any offers of Soundmagic hp151 at my market.
I have one lot of HD58X at my marketplace and they cost $200. This is a lot for me right now. And i have open headphones now, philips shp 895(they like philips 9500). I Asked about k7xx, beacause, maybe i will buy them in future.
Or hd58x will sound like universal model between dt770 and k7xx? Or just better than k7xx?

Me. I would go for the Bravo Ocean tube amplifier.
A Schiit Magni or JDS Atom would be better if you ever buy lower impedance (Ohm) headphones and still be able to drive 250-Ohm headphones.

Do you think hd598 will better, than dt770?

I would prefer the HD598, over the DT770.
The HD598 (HD558) being easier on the ears, better for long term listening.
HD558/HD598 would be better with a solid state amp.
