I've got the Chaintech AV710 under Linux... connected to ATH-AD700's directly with no amplifier. All the analogue output channels work except for the Wolfson DAC (next to the SPDIF port).
So I thought that maybe this is due to those outputs not having enough power to drive ATH-AD700's?
Or should I still hear some sound through the Alt Surround output/Wolfson DAC?
I've actually tried to map channels manually, and channels 0 through 5 work fine. But I can't get the last two channels 6 & 7 to produce any sound.
Has anyone got any idea what the problem might be?
