After a long search I finally managed to order two of Lorenzo Ghielmi's Bach organ music cds from Amazon.de. I really hope Amazon is actually able to deliver those (some obscure Japanese import stuff at ridiculous prices!).

Regards,

L.

I saw you recommend them a while back, and promptly bought Les Tenebres from Amazon, then later got Lecons De Tenebres. Amazing stuff

Thanks for the heads up about the German Ebay.

It's Garbage (and by that I mean it sucks AND sounds like the band Garbage).
this isnt coming from me though, I dislike the band but a friend who was a fan said it is terrible.

That sounds odd too me. I don't have the foggiest idea how Evanescence could possibly sound like Garbage. I'm not really a fan of either of them, but Amy Lee doesn't even seem like she COULD sound like the singer of Garbage.

Bob Dylan's "Modern Times," TV On The Radio's "Return To Cookie Mountain," Yo La Tengo's "I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your Ass" and Woven Hands' "Mosaic" are practically on the way as I type this. I am really looking forward to Califone's "Roots & Crowns, and Sparklehorse's "Dreamt For Light Years In The Belly Of A Mountain." Any new music from Beck is worth checking out. Farther out there on the horizon I was recently reading about new music from Modest Mouse [Johnny Marr on guitar..] and, of course, Radiohead. Thanks Viro for the heads-up about potential new music from nine inch nails! Shaping up to be a good Fall/Winter season for music!

DLW has some of mine on his list, but just for the record ...

Circulatory System - Blasting Through
Wayne Robbins & The Hellsayers - All You Need To Sleep
Califone - Roots & Crowns (10.10)
Sparklehorse - Dreamt For Light Years In The Belly Of A Mountain (9.26)
Nina Nastasia - On Leaving (9.19)
TV On The Radio - Return To Cookie Mountain (9.12)
Magnolia Electric Co. - Fading Trails (9.12)

Just got the new Wovenhand "Mosaic" myself and love it so far. Probably the ones above will get me through the year for new stuff, when mixed in with the older odds and ends. Hopefully a new surprise or two will emerge along the way before Xmas

Right now there are almost 700 CDs that I would like to buy. All the ones I owned up until 25 August when they all disappeared.
