I A/B listened to WM1A (3.02) and the T01 both on balanced out and they sound remarkably similar.

Coming from listening to a AK Kann Cube, I was surprised to have to go back and forth a few times just to nitpick a few differences. Mostly what you’d expect though as the 1A has a bit smoother and warmer presentation, more detail and depth in the mids, and more noticeable midbass presence. T01 has better extension on both ends, more transparent and wider treble presentation, and subbass sounds tighter.

These differences were really small using my K10 and AG, but YMMV with your IEMs.

Nice review but can you please tell me the secret place you can get the motherboards for $99.00?? as in the UK the T01 is GBP£289.00

Thanks! Yeah, small mistake from my part. $349 is better, it was corrected in the meantime. Apologies.

No probs - thought I'd let you know so you could update the comments.... shame about that secret place though... oh well, maybe the new E01 board will be cheaper!? Haha :fearful::thinking::money_mouth:

    Great review!
The only thing is that I would not say that Kann Cube is superior. I was choosing between N6ii, Cube, Futura, Plenue L.
I have mentioned that already in this thread. The Cayin's bass is much faster and tighter, especially with the T01. To me that was a typical Astell and Kern bass (too loose, too much)

I haven't been following this thread for sometime now, apologies for that. Can someone tell me if the E01 module will have a lineout so that I can use the Sabre DAC with my Pico power and not the nutubes which are expected to be implemented?

    Cheers,
    Vishy

The answer to that is we don't know much/anything about it. We should by the end of next week, early the week after though.

As far as Iknow the E01 won't have a LO function.

Hello, has anybody listened T01 and DTR1 side by side, did A/Bing? How do they compare in tonality, details, transparency?

    Think you gonna buy both.

Trying to avoid to buy both, thus the query! :D
I have A01, like it much, for smooth and musical sound. Was considering to buy T01, but after reading about DTR1, guessing it might be kind of similar sounding to T01, or even better.

Reading reviews by reviewers who write positive reviews ?

Ah, won't be getting into debate about that. :p
