Can I trade N5ii back to Cayin to get N6ii at a significant discount price :D?

This lack of USB firmware update is really sad. I love this player but when I need a bit more power I can't attach this to my GOV2+infinity because the usb c does not send clean sound to the micro usb on my Geek out. Anyone find a solution to getting rid of all this cracking, popping and skipping when using this device through USB?

I encountered an issue on my n5ii recently. Whenever the song scanning exceeds around 2474 songs, it crashes. Tried my sd card on cayin n3 and it works fine and scans all the songs with no problem. Tried installing Hiby Music from Playstore, it also crashes when it exceeds 2474 songs.
Try scanning your card for errors

Mine scans to 16000+ without issues

Has anyone had any luck using the N5ii with Android Auto? Or if anyone has a car with it would they mind trying connecting. Thanks!

No luck, just scanned the card and it shows no errors. I also tried it with another sd card with the same amount of songs, still crashes
Have you tried resetting the device?

After reading a number of reviews on the R6 Pro,i had expected a warmer presentation compared to the original.

Thankfully, this was not the case. Well, at least with the sound setting set to reference.

The biggest improvement over the original R6 is the dynamics of the R6 Pro. Where the R6 was mediocre the R6 Pro presents sound with great control and authority.

Compared to the N5ii the R6 Pro has a harder hitting bass. Oddly , the N5ii still has a deeper rumble than the R6 Pro. But mid-bass wise the R6 Pro is tighter and more controlled.

Mids are similar but the R6 Pro seems just a little cleaner.

Highs on the R6 Pro are more refined than on the N5ii. Refined as in the treble sparkle is presented more delicately compared to a more upfront presentation.

Soundstage wise the R6 Pro feels wider and somehow grander but that could be because of the dynamics.

Tl:dr, the HiBy R6 Pro is tonally similar to the N5ii but with more dynamics and a higher level of refinement.

Sadly, its priced too high and too close to better sounding options like the DX200. If only this was sold at the price of the original R6 at launch, then it would have been a compelling offer.

Hmm, If you have tried both the android settings reset and the recovery mode reset then I'm out of ideas. :frowning2:

You'll have to ask @CayinSupport or @Andykong
I tried changing the sd card format to ntfs but it only scans at around 2600+ then crashes. I looked very closely on it while scanning(Paying close attention to the directory where its scanning), I think it crashes whenever it scans file formats other than songs and images. Gone through all my song folders and started deleting everything that is not an image or a music file. It works now
