Not really. Does it rattle when you shake the DAP (softly!) ?

I had a similar problem with a tube guitar amp and and the tube was broken...
No rattle here.
Maybe I should ask for a service...

I have been enjoying N3Pro for about 2 weeks now.
Yesterday, I noticed weird noise only on the right channel when bring the volume to zero while playing music with tube mode (either Ultra Linear or Triad mode).
Noise disappears as soon as I switch to solid state mode. The noise sounds like turning the volume knob on an old and rusty desktop amplifier.
I'm wondering if I got a working but under-spec quality tube for the right channel.
Any thought?

Please contact your dealer regarding your N3Pro, this is likely a hardware problem and your dealer should take care of it, if you run into any problem with your dealer, email service@cayin.cn, our service support will take care of you.

4.4 output vs 4.4 output yes. But you'll want to stick with the 3.5mm output on the N3 Pro for better sound quality. And in that case the DX160 will be over twice as powerful.
DX160 will be over twice as powerful? are you comparing 3.5mm output from N3Pro to 3.5mm from DX160?
He asked will it be as powerful as the DX160. To which I answered yes, they will be as powerful comparing 4.4mm to 4.4mm

But, on the N3Pro he will want to stick to the 3.5mm output for better sound quality.

In that case when using the best sounding outputs on each player (4.4mm on dx160, 3.5mm UL), the DX160 will be twice as powerful.

@Andykong Any plan to place the English user's manual on the website?
Specifically, I was looking to see what is the indication that battery charging is done? Red light means still charging?

Seems to stay red at 100%. Maybe something for future firmware, I'd like violet for "done" but I guess just "red light off" is ok too
(or is the red light different at 100, not sure...)

I need help - I might have got a lemon :frowning2:
Trying to turn it on (brand new unit, freshly charged) - I hold the wheel in for 3-4 seconds and get:

Holding the power (wheel) pressed for a few seconds (until the yellow light goes off), wait 10 seconds, and try to turn it on again... this time I get:

Trying to turn off and on again - this time I get:

What is wrong with my unit?! :frowning2:
Waited for a while week until it arrived, and really dread shipping it back!!!

Hopefully, my N3Pro can be reset somehow?

Tried with and without microSD card, BTW. Same results.

Few questions for Cayin

* Is there any lag/delay when using it as USB Dac from computer - or is it just like using a desktop usb dac?

* Can the tubes be used with line out (h3pro > 3.5mm line out)

* Can the tubes be used in dac mode (computer usb > h3pro > 3.5mm line/headphone out)

My Fiio M11 Pro has some slight delay in USB which makes it difficult to use for gaming or music production. I know the Fiio M15 has an XMOS chip and I think it doesn't have any lag when used in dac mode.

@Andykong any way to reflash the FW? Is it possible fw image became corrupted?
Fingers crossed we can get it fixed without shipping it back!
