Any tube noise?

Sorry, what is tube noise exactly? I don't hear anything abnormal, I was really into my music last night for about 2 hours and everything sounded great to my ears.

If it's not a high pitched noise, it's not microphonic noise.
I got the same problem with my N3Pro. When I turned the volume to zero, I heard some hum noise come and go. Andy suggested to get the service with the seller. Andrew @ MusicTeck quickly replaced my unit. Top notch service.

So the replacement is fine now? Good service!

My experience was that it's very quiet during regular operation, but I did notice some light "tube noise" for a few seconds after switching to the Tube channel. It only lasted 5-10 seconds though, then the device returned to it's normal quiet operation. Whether or not it occurred was somewhat intermittent. I'd say maybe the first time I switched to tube during a listening session I would get some noise, but then I wouldn't get noise switching back and forth after that.

So far so good with my N3 pro. First couple hours listening the sound was muddy warm then in the next few hours it’s getting clear and more defined sound (listened via Bluetooth connected with iPhone XR loaded with streaming vocals). I am using Phantom/ 8 wired/ 4.4 bal. Love the SQ. Let’s try to listen in a couple days.

By the way, I have read someone asking the comparison between AK SR15 and N3 pro. To me I like N3 Pro much better than SR15 which was more on neutral SQ with more slam bass.

You only hear it at the beginning when switching to tube mode, or if you tap or jolt your player. It goes away, it's like a high pitched ringing. Turn your volume down to 2 or 3 and tap your n3p- you will here it. I guess it's completely normal.

The 3.5 SS sounds more neutral/balanced than the 4.4 to me. The 4.4 does open/brighten up more with use.

You can import M3U playlist from your computer to N3Pro. We are not familiar with Mac, but foobar can formulate their playlist into M3U, and we had written an instruction previously, check it out HERE and see if you can adopt this into your Mac notebook.

Hi, anyone of you has encountered play back problem with .m3u/.m3u8? Yesterday I created a few through Foobar2000 and imported them onto the SDcard, and then they worked perfectly. And tonight I created a few more on Foobar2000 but now N3Pro said all of my .m3u being “Play failed. No file [sic]”. Can’t solve after multiple attempts. I put the .m3u in the root directory.

I received my N3Pro and really like the Triode Mode so far and also love that it is non Android, just drag and drop my recorded vinyl collection and good to go. I did notice the back of the player scratches easily and I should have put the plastic case on immediately and all I did with it is load some albums on my desktop and listened to it once. Green case should be here today.

Does anyone ever compared N3Pro to n8 and n8 brass?

Tomorrow will a/b them for you with the same tracks and as dac from computer and ldac tidal from Samsung note. Will let you know. However for the price you can’t fault the n3pro, ul mode is very entertaining.
