Hi, The topology Laptop->n3->earphones is workable. You are right. N3 can be used as a DAC. But you need to install a driver first.

I still use it, a little less since I bought a xduoo, but truly a great little amp for the price and switching between the opamps is interesting.

Does anyone know if i can extract the signal from USB port into Cayin c5 using Cayin USB type C to 3.5mm adapter? Thanks. I bought one hopefully it worked but turned out it didn't , no signal at all.
