Greetings, guys.

Well my only wish, that Cayin d11 had more powerful built in amp to drive planars, like mine HE500s. Something balanced, somethig 3w into 35 ohms output...
Hope your engineers already keep in mind such project :)

Thanks for your suggestions Rockcoon. What you mean should be our Cayin DAC11 instead of D11. Correct? It is the DAC we have developed with HO.

Yes, i was talking about DAC 11. Tube dac, based on burr brown chip. It should be very smooth analogue like sounding device. The last few years everyone start chasing for sabre dacs, that gives cold analytical sound, with harsh treble. And big companies seems begin to forget about those folks, who preffere warm side of the sound- and that is still a big place on the market.
So i was very exited, when found your pruduct. The only dissapointment is output power of dac 11 amp. It's about 500mw, right?
Wish it was atleast 1,5w. Then i bought it immediately without any doubts

Our DAC11 is designed mainly as a DAC. We have added one headphone amp circuity into it for an extra funtion and therefore the headphone output circuit is not a dedicated circuit but only a simple circuit with a power output at 210 mV 32 ohm loaded. Instead if you are looking for a desktop headphone amplifier with a strong power output. We suggested you to take a look at our HA-3 USB DAC Headphone amplifier. It is 2100mW @ 32Ohm power output which we also used Burr Brown PCM1792A chip. Following are some pictures for your reference:

"So far it has always been extremely hard to get Cayin review samples but after this show I have a feeling it might be easier now. Haja brought a lot of their products to the show and I especially liked the big tube amp with the LCD-3. That amp is extremely heavy btw. I can’t say I am a fan of the UI on their DAPs, but probably it just takes some getting used to."

Hello, can you name any of those items in the pictures... (the big amps and dac) costs etc? Can't find them anywhere.

Jut wanted to let you know that this CAYIN DAC11 is a true pleasure, despite it being older and it also works well (even sounding better to my taste) using some precisely matched SIEMENS E88CC/CCa tubes instead the build in 6922 Electro Harmonix.
