Solid choice. I have them in a couple of amps to great effect.

I'm a new owner of a Liquid Fire and was hoping some owners are still monitoring this thread even though it's been a while since anyone posted.
Is there a trick to taking off the cover? I removed the six screws and tried sliding the top cover off but it's really tight!!! I managed to get it off enough to put some tube dampers on.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Mine takes a bit of a tug to slide off totally. Used to stick exactly where yours did when I'd replace tubes or put on dampers.

What DAC are you using w/Fire? Looks like you are a Porsche or German car guy w/rennwerkes handle

Currently using a Bel Canto DAC3 but also use a Hugo 2.
Just installed tube dampers and plan on changing tubes to Gold Lion's.
I can't see spending crazy money on Amperex or similar! LOL!
You're right, I've been fooling around with German cars for decades!
What's your set up?

I have a Wyred 4 Sound DAC 2v2SE and LCD-2 vs 2 non fazor. I have the Gold Lions and best price is this place. Alex Cavalli told me spending money on expensive tubes for this amp was unnecessary. I use Herbies Tube dampers but unsure any real result. Sounds great!
