It was only 2 lbs in shipping weight. Is it really that light?

yes the box was surprisingly light. the whole packaging felt a bit heavier than an ipad to me

#135 just landed in Singapore. Physically ok except a scarf mark on the faceplate showing silver beneath ... no, I'm not going to send it back (unless it's a defective unit).

Man that sucks, did they throw it off the plane as they went over?

I think the scarf mark must have been either from the metal works side or at assembly ... hard to imagine the amp hitting anything in the packaging it came with.

Let's hope the music from the LC will sooth everything tonight ... can't wait to get home :)

I dun mind the delay, but if mine came like that, it's going straight back

I partially hid the imperfection with a black non-permanent marker. Covers up but not perfect. Will explore with CA if it's possible to send a replacement faceplate. Hate to waste transport cost sending a working amp (not testing till i get home) back just for a scarf mark.

Yeah, think of the expense, the time, and the opportunity cost (hours not enjoyed) taken to send it back and forth across oceans. Seems like a lot to go through just to fix a minor cosmetic blemish. Send it to me here in Japan, and I promise to send you my unblemished one when I receive it!

I got mine today!! Serial number 098.. I did notice a scuff mark on the back of my unit. It's not damaged, just a minor rub mark that I could easily wipe off with my finger. Also as of the time of this post I haven't tested the unit out to make sure it works yet. I will update everyone with any issues or changes. I do plan on running the unit for 200 hrs for a burn-in process after the weekend..

I will be testing it with the following gear. iPad 2 / iPhone 6s+ via 3.5mm to rca / 3.5 to 3.5. Windows 10 pro via Audioquest green USB to Emotiva Stealth DC-1 via Balanced XLR / Unbalanced RCA. Headphones, Audeze LCD-3 stock balanced XLR 4pin. Audioquest Nighthawk Wywires balanced xlr 4pin / single ended 3.5mm. AKG K7xx stock single ended, AKG K553 pro stock single ended, Philips SHP9500 aftermarket chinese single ended hp cable.
IEM's: RHA-T10i, vsonic gr07 classic edition.
