I'm looking for a software package to catalog a book collection of a few thousand books. Ideally it would let me scan the barcode to enter data, or if not then just type in the ISBN number. I remember a thread here sometime ago that had info on this but I can't find it now. Does anyone have experience with this type of software?
As for cost I would like to keep it under a couple hundred bucks including the barcode scanner. I also need to catalog some magazines so flexibilty in that regard is needed. If it could also catalog my software all the better.
