I have got one of these on the way and I have not seen many threads on this amp lately, I guess not many people own them.

For those that do, can you post your comments on what kind of sound I can be expecting when it arrives?

Thanks

p.s.
I will be listening via W5000

I think that people own them, but they have not changed in 15+ years. So there is no buzz around them.

Stereophile update with the HD-600's

I would be interested to hear what it is like with the w5000.

Cheers,

look for the "not-so-super R10 mini-meet" posted by Davederek in the meet review threads.

we rocked the 300SEI with a couple headphones almost as old as it

to save the read, and condense things: it is ROCK solid amp.

Boze's Carey is heavily modded, plus has top-notch WE tubing. Yes, it is very, very nice. One of the first tube amps I ever heard, and still one of my favs (if not most).

But even the stock 300sei is quite nice, and a nice SET amp for high-efficiency speakers (unlike Tom's modded unit).
