Quite a few DIYers favor it to the Cardas!
Don't be confused by the price. It's a high Q Japanese cable I believe.

Mogami $0.70 per feet
Cardas about $8 per feet.

buy them all, build 3 different cables with some black covering and mix them all so you have no idea which is which. That way you won't be influenced by the brand. THen do some listening tests and see which one you like best, or even if you can hear a diference.
