Cardas -> HD600 -> Break-in?

So I bought the Cardas upgrade cable for my HD600s. So far, they have cleaner detail, etc, but I am concerned about the subtle ripeness in the bass. This is heard most often with my Mint amp.

For those of you with this combination, did these cables take some break-in time?
