I'd really like to hear you guys' opinions of this. How does it change the sound to your ears?

I have HD600's with Cardas cable and I love them. I'm not sure I can be of to much help as far as the sound change though. I upgraded the cable even before my phones were really broken in because I too have upgraditis. I think a lot will depend on your source. I don't think you'll notice much difference if your using a portable CDP & no amp, but if you have a very good source and amp I think it would be worth the investment. Even though I don't have much experience with the stock cable, I do know that the Senn/Cardas combo with an ASL MG Head/OTL amp is magical.

Just buy everything ablaze... It'll be simpler in the long run
