Does anyone know if the 1m or 2m Cardas mini to mini cable (not right angled) would work as a headphone cable for the ATH-ANC7. I have tried the Cardas mini to mini (6" with right angled connector) and it is just a tiny bit too large to fit, because of the right angle I think.

Do you think the Cardas cable (assuming it fits) would be a noticable upgrade over the very delicate looking cable that comes with the ANC7? Has anyone else used another mini to mini with the ANC7?

About 2 weeks ago, I flew to Dublin with my ATH-ANC7s. All was well until I left my cable for the headphones on the plane! Luckily, I had a pair of UM2s for backup so I was not without my tunes for the trip.

Since I had no cable (and the connector on my $2 6ft mini to mini from monoprice would not fit), I decided to throw in the towel and try out my theory with the 2m Cardas mini-mini (straight not right angled connector). I ordered one from headroom and it arrived in the mail today. Indeed, the Cardas cable fits!!! I don't know how it sounds yet because I haven't listened to it yet but I will soon.

Anyway, if you lose your cable like I did, you have options.

Yep, that's the one! It feels so much sturdier than the stock cable and works great.
