Hey guys, as the title says, im curious if anyone has made custom cups for their Audeze LCD2 closed / XC headphones.
Basically what im thinking of doing/trying if i buy the Audeze LCD2 Closed would be to copy Mrspeakers and make carbon fiber cups. Even if you havent used carbon fiber before, but know the steps and what i should concering internal padding of the cup/seals/screws/supports/glue.
I'd like to turn this..
Into something similar to this..
And perhaps maybe even add the Audeze carbon fiber headband that you can buy separately..
The Main reason to bring down the weight of the LCD2 Closed as much as possible since they're 600+ grams already by default with the aluminium cups and regular steel headband.
any advice would be super useful for my research and hopeful future tests.
