This could possibly be a very stupid question, but what the hell....

I'm just wondering how you guys connect your cans to the jacks that look like a single stereo wire jack on the front of your meta's. I have some DT-770's, so how would I connect them, and would I want to just get a jack put in instead?

Second: if I'm connecting the meta to a computer or cd player, is it best to just do a mini to mini?

see the big jack on the left with the little red switch on top? you plug your cans (1/4" connector) in there...

seems simple enough to me..

he probably thought it was a binding post.. on the back of (nicer) amp and speakers binding posts are the most common way to connect speaker wire (they generally accept several (5) types of connectors)..

a very simple pair of binding posts would be something like:

Oh ok, I know what binding posts are...after I thought about it a bit, I thought he might have thought they were spring clips, what with the red tab and all
