New Head-Fier
When will sign-up for he-1 listening sessions go live? Missed out last year and don't want to miss out on it again.
Hypothetically speaking, Sennheiser rep will call the people on the waiting list to fill the vacant spot. Hypothetically speaking, but actual callingAlso regarding the HE-1 signup. Let's say that my wife and I both sign up for the same slot but she hypothetically sprains her ankle or something unforeseen that I haven't thought of yet... can I have her time? Hypothetically speaking.
The key to the HE1 demo is having your songs in order so they are easy to pull up and listen to. And you should have at least a couple of pinch hitters in case you get more time than anticipated.Hypothetically speaking, Sennheiser rep will call the people on the waiting list to fill the vacant spot. Unfortunately, my favorite pizza in Manhattan is a bit of a jog, but so worth it. Lombardi's coal fired pizza at Spring and Mott (I think) is one of the, if not the, oldest pizza places in NYC and, for me, unbeatable. While I'm looking ahead to plan my visit with different audio vendors and developers at CanJam I'm also thinking about some NYC food and beverage locations I haven't tried before.
Here are a few I enjoyed on previous CanJam NYC visits:
- Juniors at 45th St, just across the street
- 787 Coffee Co for a fresh ground or latte close by
- Carmine's for Italian
The pizza discussion usually kicks off by now so I'll get it started on whether NY style vs Chicago vs Detroit is better. I did enjoy the Detroit style at Emmy Squared on 48th St. Thank you for the recommendation last year.
Appreciate your advice on any other places to try.
Me too!!I'll be attending! This is my very first Canjam, hype hype!![]()
I used to travel often to NYC and my favorite Italian is Trattoria Dell'Arte. Despite being across from Carnegie Hall, it's a locals place. I don't think they've changed the decor since the 70s. But their pizza and 100 layer lasagna are to die forWhile I'm looking ahead to plan my visit with different audio vendors and developers at CanJam I'm also thinking about some NYC food and beverage locations I haven't tried before.
