Amazing review!
I think power is really important for these new e-stat hybrids. I couldn't get the trinity to sound good at all (sounded like a muddy mess) from my single ended Plenue M2 - even at almost max volume. A DAP or amp with balanced output is highly recommended. This was maybe influencing my decision to pick the Valkyrie as my favorite (I had not heard the WAVAYA Octa) as it's easier to drive. But that's a big deal for me as I'll either have to buy a new DAP or a separate amp (which is a deal breaker for me). Thinking about pulling the trigger on the Valkyrie as that e-stat high end is addictive - I genuinely struggled to take the thing out of my ears as it sounded so nice lol.

I agree power definitely helps, specifically current. The QP2R throws down well in this regard. The Valkyrie is good value in the e-stat zone. I'm hoping to try it with some copper to mellow the treble a little for me.

Just ordered the fiio eh3nc on presale from hifigo.com. they made it appear as if its discounted now at $259, but no idea what actual retail will be. Nonetheless, if it sounds better than XM3 and its BT 5 with ldac, that makes it thr most advanced BT available amd likely thr best sounding. Plannong tonpair with thr m5 and watch band. Pretty rad gym combo.

Both parts were exciting as we started in dCM Bartok event in London on Thursday night. I took a tour of London Friday and had dinner with sleepyone and we covered all the vendors so enjoy the read.
Thanks for sharing, Frank.
I really like your coverage - great photos and easy read. Never gets too long or boring! Good job :)

We all had a great time at CanJam London representing 64 Audio and Campfire, along with helping out Westone.

On a personal note it was great to see a lot of familiar faces, and I hope to see some of you next year

And here's another video:

She is definitely the best! I've had 5 sets of ear impressions done with her. She is also a sweet, kind, and responsive person.
