Agree on these two!. The music at Focal was limited, I tried to connect my DAP to the Elear but they didn't have a 3.5 to full size converter, should have took one myself but thought vendors of a headphone would have one. Elear didn't attract me but many seem to speak highly, so assumed it was just me not finding it exciting. For an AV fan, the Smyth could replace all the speakers in your living room. Late night films, no worries about the neighbours, great! Shame that at the moment you ideally need all the speakers and matching amplification in your room to model. But it can be tricked by moving your head using your current 5.1 etc. Groundbreaking because their claims that it 'doesn't sound like but replicates the speakers' is TRUE! Amazed at those speakers behind you!! out of a Senn 800!
