I think most from the West will have language barrier due to far less people being fluent in English in HK compared to SG. If this was held in the Philippines instead, there’d be literally zero language barrier since 90% of Filipinos can understand and communicate in English at least on the intermediate level

Indeed, the proportion of English speakers in China isn’t as high as in Singapore or Hong Kong, but most people are very friendly and welcoming towards foreigners. They’ll be more than happy to find a way and help you out!

Very exciting to see CanJam go to new cities! I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to Hong Kong for this one, but I love how successful Head-Fi is with CanJam so that it can expand. Great job, Head-Fi!

I am interested to see how Canjam would compare to the HK High End AV Show (HKAV). Wonder if it would be a focus on manufacturers representing themselves or will there be more of distributors and vendors being the stand in similar to HKAV.

Regardless it is be nice to have more audio events year round for the community to connect. There used to be at least 3 audio type shows/ conventions prior to 2019.

I will just be leaving Hong Kong a few days before the show starts. What a bummer! I hope it will be a good turnout and will continue in the future. I went to Shanghai CanJam this year. I was quite pleased with it. There were mostly IEMs at the show since IEMs have a much bigger market in Asian in comparison to the west. Not sure if I would be similar in HK CanJam.
