Can I buy the t-shirt without attending the show? TYSM
We're not able to ship these, but if you know someone attending in Dallas that can pick it up for you, then sure!

I missed the Fugaku at SoCal, so am interested in hearing them this time.
That was so funny. They actually smoothed out the arm veins after another headfier said the last tshirt pic freaked them out
Let’s gooooo!Just confirmed my ticket; looking forward to meeting everyone!
I’ve been to one other can-jam and I found it very helpful to bring a pair of my favorite closed headphones and a DAP with my favorite music. I was looking for a new amp at the time so it made sense to try with the music and phones I was going to use it with. It’s certainly not necessary though.I've never been to a CanJam before and am seriously considering flying to Dallas to attend my first show. Are there any guides for Noobs on what to expect? After reading the SoCal thread, I feel like everyone is bringing their gear to baseline what they hear. Is everyone doing that?
What advice do you wish you had known/followed before attending your first CanJam?
Totally agree! Food was awesome, as well as the company last year.Really worth the short drive!

Totally agree. Some of the quietest times are late in the day Saturday and early Sunday and late Sunday . Not too late Sunday because vendors are looking to pack up and get back home but most are fine if you get there by 4. The noise level on the main floor is not as much as it is in SoCal and NYC and open backs can reasonably be heard. While SoCal and NYC are so much fun I think Dallas is one of the more enjoyable CanJams for me. Less than a month away can’t wait.I’ve been to one other can-jam and I found it very helpful to bring a pair of my favorite closed headphones and a DAP with my favorite music. One of the challenges of a can-jam is the main floor noise levels are louder than your typical at-home listening environment so it is often hard to get a good comparison of open headphones. Some of the headphone exhibitors had listening rooms that were much quieter and you could do meaningful comparisons there.
The exhibitors are generally very accommodating if you want to try your gear with their equipment (though ask first). Bring a few adaptors and cables so you can match up with the gear you’re auditioning.
I've got a list as long as my arm of things to buy and I haven't even made it to a CanJam yet!CanJams should come with strong warnings that once you leave, you catch the spending bug which will take months to wear off. I've now got a new list of things to buy after attending the London CanJam....be warned! It's an addiction.
