I read a report that a relatively healthy male should be able to do 40 push ups.
Can you do it? Can you make the challenge?

Yes you can!

had a competition with friends two weeks. i took the second place with 85.
for people who dont reguarly exercise, 40 may be a lot. however, if you just try to do your max reps 2~3 times a week, it should improve dramatically very quickly.
my bro who weighed 215lbs and couldnt do 5 pushups, started doing pushups and go to do 20+ in less than a month. after that, he became a gym freak, and lost 45 pounds or so.

We do waves of pyramid sets starting at 200 repetitions, declines, rucksacks, 25+ lbs weight belts, close grip, regular grip, wide grip, and even one arm.

I can usually hit between 90 - 110 push-ups in 2 minutes weekly. I still need to work up to 120+ consistently in 2 minutes. I'll get there as I have time.
