Hey guys.

I want to create a breakout cable for my Apogee Duet - but since it's my first cable-project ever i have a question that i hope you give an answer to.

The cable i'm looking to make is something like this: http://www.pbase.com/n_maher/image/99424908.jpg

My problem is that I'm unsure which pins i should use in the 15 pin VGA connector. This is the pin-out diagram:

I guess it's the LINE_OUT_1_TIP and  LINE_OUT_2_TIP - but what about LineOut 1&2 Ring&Sleeve?

In my RCA cables there are two conductors like on the following picture: http://assets.pakwheels.com/forums/2010/attachments/Car-Entertainment---Electronics---GPS-Navigation/191918-DIY-RCA-cables--5.jpg
To which pins, should i connect these? Both conductors to LINE_OUT_1_TIP for cable 1 and both conductors to LINE_OUT_2_TIP for cable two?

Thanks :)

My guess is that pins 8-14 are all connected together (looks like it) for ground.

if you use LINE OUT 1 and 2 TIP, that would go to the respective RCA left and right signal wires (inner core wire of RCA cable). Pin 10 would probably connect to both shield/grounds of the RCA cable break-out.
