Can I use superglue to fix my headphones' cord ?

Kinda stupid question but my headphones' cord have a small tear. Currently I'm just stick a small tape on but it is not really sticky and will probably wear out soon, I'm thinking of using a super glue.
Is it okay? Will it somehow damage the wires ?

It should be fine. There is usually another layer of insulation on the wires anyways.

Should be fine either way just don't let the other wires overlap each other before glueing them. Super glue isn't conductive so it won't ruin your headphones or anything however it might be a pain to do future repairs on the same area.
