You can't use both Mix Amp and odac at the same time.

Guess you could daisy chain the amplifier function, of your ODAC/O2, with the Mix-amp.
So xBox's (optical) output, optically connected to the Mix-amp optical input, then the Mix-amp's headphone output jack connected to the line-input of the ODAC/O2.
xBox > Mix-amp > ODAC/O2 > headphones

I dont own an XBox,rather a PS4,but you can def add an additional amp after the Astro.You will still get the 7.1 decoding and the additional amp will just make it louder,or allow to use a harder to drive headphone.

I had to do a lot of research to figure out the right cables/splitters to get it done,and dont bother asking Astro.they will not give any tech advice on non Astro products.I know.I tried.
